Matrocracy

Next generation democracy

Sunrise at Haleakala
What single shift in societal structure would allow our nation to evolve to the next stage of prosperity and peace? The answer is to increase women’s political and economic power: Matrocracy. This one powerful and attainable change would move the tipping points of many public policy issues, and change social values and allocation of resources for the better. Helping women attain power equal to that of men increases the ever-slimming chances that humanity will thrive, or even survive, beyond this century.

Matrocracy is:

Next generation democracy; Post patriarchal representative government in which women hold and exercise power close to the proportion of their numbers in the voting age population. In a matrocracy, women have wealth and economic power close to the proportion of their numbers in the workforce.
